A team page is only as strong as its weakest photo. One person on a beach, another cropped from a party, someone else in front of a filing cabinet. Bringing the camera to your office fixes all of that in a single morning, and nobody has to leave the building.
I run team headshot days at offices across Liverpool and Merseyside for agencies, law firms, universities, clinics and startups. Here is exactly how the day works, so you can plan it with confidence.
The short version
- I bring the studio to you. Portable lighting and a backdrop, set up in a spare room.
- Ten to fifteen minutes each. Once the lights are set, people are in and out quickly.
- About twenty people in half a day. Larger teams run as a full day or two visits.
- Everyone matches. Same light, same background, same edit.
- New starters can match later. I keep a note of the setup for top up sessions.
1. Before the day
We agree the date, the headcount and the look: background colour, crop, and whether you want a relaxed or more formal feel. I send wardrobe guidance to share with the team, and you send me a rough schedule so people know when they are needed.
2. What I need from you
A clear corner of a room and a plug socket. A spare meeting room or a quiet section of an open plan floor is perfect. That is it. I bring the lighting, the backdrop and everything else.
3. On the day
I arrive early, set up and test the light so the first person gets the same result as the last. Then people come through in their slots. Each sitting is a relaxed chat with some light direction, and most people are back at their desk within ten to fifteen minutes. Plenty of people walk in nervous and walk out laughing.
4. Picking the photos
Within 48 hours you get a private proofing gallery. Each person, or one coordinator, picks their favourite. Once the selections are back, the retouched finals usually follow within four to seven days depending on team size.
5. Keeping it consistent
Every final image gets natural retouching and the colour and light are balanced across the whole set, so your team page looks like one business. I keep a record of the lighting, background and edit, so new starters can be photographed in a top up session and matched as closely as possible.
6. Add video while I am there
With the lighting already rigged, it is easy to film a few founder interviews, a recruitment piece or some social content on the same visit. It is usually the most cost effective way to get both.

Questions people ask
What if some of the team work remotely or part time?
Very common. Larger organisations often run across two visits, and anyone missed can come to the studio or join a top up session later, matched to the same setup.
Can you do headshots at our conference or event instead?
Yes. I also run headshot booths at conferences, expos and careers fairs, which are a great way to photograph lots of people in one place.
Do you travel outside Liverpool?
Yes. I shoot on location across Merseyside, Wirral, Sefton, St Helens, Warrington, Chester and Manchester, with travel included in the quote.
