Some quotes are a quick visit with a wide lens and automatic editing. Others include a tripod, balanced window light, corrected verticals, careful colour and files sized for every portal. Both get called “property photography”, but only one makes a listing look its best in a grid of thumbnails.
So before you compare prices, compare the shoot. How long is spent on site, how the images are edited, how fast they come back, and whether they arrive ready to upload.

If you list properties regularly, a one off quote every time is slow for everyone. Buyers and tenants scroll Rightmove, Zoopla and Airbnb in seconds, and the main photo decides whether a listing gets opened or skipped. Dark, crooked phone photos quietly cost views and enquiries. Bright, straight, well composed images make a space look cared for and help it let or sell faster. For most properties, the cost of the shoot is small next to a week of empty rent or a slow sale.

- How long will you spend on site?
- How are the images edited, and are verticals corrected?
- How quickly will the files arrive?
- Are they sized for Rightmove, Zoopla and Airbnb?
- Can photo and video be done in one visit?
Watch for
- Watermarks on the delivered files
- Extra charges for web sized versions
- Travel added after booking
- Heavy edits that change what the property really looks like
